004Among the first words which Our Lady gave to the whole world through the visionaries were: “I have come to tell you that God exists, I am coming because the Heavenly Father has sent me.” The will of the Heavenly Father is to save us all. Jesus said after he came into this world, “Here I am – I have come to do your will, O God” (Heb 10, 7). Mary is appearing in many places in the world to help us live everything that Jesus teaches us – to live the will of the Heavenly Father. She does not tell us anything new, only with Her Motherly heart repeats to us Jesus’ teachings.

Also today she repeats to us an important truth – “you cannot live without prayer.” Everything that we need for life we can receive in prayer. Every received grace is the answer of God to our prayer. “Prayer is life, prayer is what the human heart desires”; “let prayer be like the air you breathe”, she says to us in her messages. The prayer of the heart is to abandon ourselves to the will of God.

Only Jesus could say – “I always do what pleases him” (Jn 8, 29). Even in deadly anxiety he fully accepted the will of Father – “Yet not my will but yours be done” (Lk 22, 42).

„To pray – may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven – means to allow the Lord to act. Then His Almightiness comes into action...“

001Jesus knows our weak will, which is inclined to evil. He teaches us to pray, “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come.” Maybe this prayer has become commonplace to us and we perhaps pray it superficially or we have not understood its power yet. Therefore the Mother of Jesus repeats to us – “Little children, in humility of heart return to God and to His commandments so that with all your heart you are able to say: as it is in heaven so may it be on earth.”

When we pray – thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven – we receive what is the best for us, that which is the will of God and is also our peace. This prayer is like a miraculous key, opening the heart of the Father. John the apostle says: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we have asked of him (1 Jn 5, 14-15).

Often we want to suit the will of God to our will. We want God to act according to our imagination. We organize our life and the lives of others as we like and we do not ask the Lord, what do you think about it? We choose the way of pride and our decisions are made without God.  When times are hard, we ask the Lord to deliver us from suffering – we have our own plans and will. To pray – may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven – means to allow the Lord to act. Then His Almightiness comes into action and before us in even the most complicated situation a possible solution emerges which we could never have imagined.

In one message Mary said to us: “Dear children, pray that God come to your aid, not however according to your desire, but according to His love” (25.6.1988). To abandon oneself to God in spite of everything means to go by a way which perhaps we have never even thought about. On the way of abandonment we experience many surprises.

“You, little children, are free to, in freedom decide for God or against Him. See where Satan wants to pull you into sin and slavery.” (25.1.2016) “Do not let Satan attract you through material things but, little children, decide for God who is freedom and love. Choose life and not death of the soul” (25.3.1996).

In these words our Heavenly Mother warns us and challenges us just as God did with Moses, in the covenant: “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction” (Deut 30, 15). A decision for God or against Him is a decision for life or for death. The heart of Mary is beating for each one of us particularly. Mary with her motherly heart watches over our every step. She is whispering to us in prayer to choose life and not death of the soul. She does not force us, only invites us. She bows down in front of our freedom just as God does.

Let us be obedient to her call: “Do not forget, little children: your freedom is your weakness, therefore follow my messages with seriousness” (25.2.2007). “Return to my heart so that I can lead you to my Son Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life” (25.1.2016).

Let us pray:

Mary, completely abandoned to the will of God, we return to your heart with all our being. With you we choose God and life for the soul. Pray with us, help us to recognize the will of God in prayer. Give us your humility. We pray with your heart, “May it be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Amen.
